Taking care of our health is a huge, lifetime responsibility. There’s nothing like being fit and in perfect condition especially if you are a mother wrapped with endless responsibilities not only to yourself but to your family as well. And there’s no worse feeling for mothers than seeing members of her family especially the kids getting sick.
We try the best possible way we can to prevent such inconvenience from taking place. We pack them food for school to make sure they’re eating healthy; we keep our house and surroundings clean – making it a safe place for them to move around and while doing their things like playing and other learning activities; we taught them to practice proper hygiene; and most importantly we give them their daily dose of needed nourishment to keep them feeling sound.
These are really basic measures every parent should incorporate to their daily routine. However, no matter how hard we try to prevent our children from getting sick, the spreading of viruses we worry about catching into a place where they frequent like the school environment is something we can do nothing about. And although over-the-counter pharmaceutical products for kids are now easily available, the best way still to fight diseases is to keep their immune system up. This can be done by eating good food (parents must know what good foods are); drinking lots of water (lay off the sweets and dairy products) and make sure kids are getting enough sleep.
